You Found Us!
Hey hey! Thanks for clicking over to our corner of the internet.
We're Fancy Fat Frog — a small indie team making stuff inspired by the games
we grew up loving. Win9X, PSX, Dreamcast,
N64 — that messy beautiful time when textures didn't need a degree
to load correctly. Long story short: nobody was doing enough low-poly homage
work anymore, so why not us?
Our whole thing is that period between roughly 1995 and 2003.
Not pixel art. Actual 3D models with intentionally wonky UV mapping. That
crunchy JPEG compression quality on character faces? Yeah, we do that on
purpose now. Hardware limitations became artistic identity, y'know?
Basically, we exist because some things should never disappear completely.
Stuff To Sell For Dollars
Alright, real talk—we're saving cash to build our first full game someday.
Until then, we sell asset packs you can actually use.
Low-poly character models, environment pieces, props, animations. Everything
modeled/textured the hard old way.
Nothing fancy, nothing free. Fair prices honestly.
PolyKit - Home interior & Furniture
Over 500 low-poly home interior and furniture models for kitchens, living
and dining spaces, bathrooms, bedrooms, kids’ rooms, garages, yards, and
recreation rooms, with Unity-ready files and editable textures.
All props are properly separated into useful objects. For example, all doors
of kitchen cabinets are separate objects inside one Prefab/Model.
Free Sample Download the "child room" as free sample for this asset. It contains all the mesh objects as well as texture files. The sample is avaible on itch.io.
Shoot Us A Message
Got a question, an asset idea, or a weird frog pun? Hit us up on any of the
socials below and we'll reply once the caffeine hits and the game dev brain
stops lagging.
No email gatekeepers, no mention of one specific platform — drop a message
on any of the socials and we'll catch it.
Working On Big Thing
So this part changes constantly. What we say today might differ tomorrow
because game dev = chaos.
But yeah, the real project—the actual playable game—is slowly becoming
reality using money made from selling assets to strangers online.
Details locked tight until we know ourselves. Release date? Dunno.
Platforms? Probably PC first. Genre? Somewhere between adventure and
whatever word fits better later. Just trust that frogs remember how to jump
when needed. Soon™.
